1972 Mercedes-Benz 250C 5 Cylinder Automatic Turbo Diesel Conversion

For Sale is a 1972 MBZ 250C that has recently been gone through a Turbo Diesel Conversion. Runs and Drives Excellent on the first start. It starts each and every time on the first crank. It is also set up to burn vegetable oil instead of diesel. No leaks. Does need some TLC outside with minor body work as a restoration process but it is not something that has to be done right away. There are few items that must get redone specially after the diesel conversion was performed. It needs A/C to be hooked up and it used to work on the previous gas engine, heater hoses to be connected for hot water to flow into the heater core. Moonroof mechanism works manually from inside the truck as these years and models were designed to have but electrically needs some services and the mechanism itself might have to come apart to get serviced and lubricated again. There might be some window adjustments and door lock adjustments and some knobs and levers that might have to be hooked up or replaced later on. Vehicle runs Solid and there are no issues as far as performance. It is a Non smog version of any classic Mercedes Benz. The Diesel conversion cost a little over $25000.00 dollars for us as a dealer plus the cost of the vehicle itself, but at this point we want it gone and will consider reasonable offers. Rides super smooth and very strong. Does not choke, die or stutter. We just recently replaced all the tires with new white walls. Vehicle has all original jack and tool set with 100% treads on the full-size spare. Newer battery in the truck. New Detachable CD player with Premium sound system and speakers in working condition. Remember, the main part of this project is done and all it needs is the fine touch just like any other used classic project that is 80-90% done. at this point we wouldn't even call it a project anymore.
